Created in 1987, ARTTIC is an independent European provider of management services, especially in the area of large international collaborative R&D projects. ARTTIC is a set of companies based in France, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Israel. ARTTIC is an SME with a total workforce of about 75 persons.
ARTTIC provides specific and practical help with all aspects of international R&D projects. Services include helping clients specifying their R&D strategy; establishing project feasibility; finding international participants; establishing consortia; managing the proposal development activities; helping negotiate contracts; taking charge of all management aspects of live projects; helping to disseminate and exploit successful project results and preparing development and business plans.
In SOTERIA, ARTTIC supports the consortium in the daily management and administrative tasks (WP1) to ensure the collaboration is working efficiently, the project is properly monitored and decisions and actions are prepared and taken according to the project progress. ARTTIC provides methods, tools and operational support for the collaboration within the consortium and tries to simplify as much as possible the work of the R&D staff. ARTTIC also supports the project’s dissemination and training activities and provides the project public website (WP6).
|Emmanuelle Da Silva, Senior Consultant
Emma Da Silva is an experienced Project Manager who joined ARTTIC in 2000 and who has been involved in numerous EU funded projects in various fields, including Energy. Within SOTERIA, she is in charge of running the Project Office, thereby assisting the Project Coordinator and the Executive Board, as well as implementing the project management plans, following the decisions taken, and bringing solutions to any difficulties met in the course of the project. Emmanuelle is also leading the activities of the ARTTIC team within the dissemination and communication work package.
|Herman Bertrand, Project Manager
Herman Bertrand works for ARTTIC as Project Manager and is in charge of the administrative, financial and organisational support of several European projects which ARTTIC is involved in. Within SOTERIA, he is responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day administrative business and the project's dissemination activities.
